Endoscopic breast augmentation is done through a remote scar hidden in one of the creases in the armpit. There will not be any cuts on the nipple or breast. The surgery is performed with you completely asleep and as a day surgery procedure, so you can be discharged after the surgery.
Pain and discomfort are usually limited to the first few days and is adequately controlled by oral painkillers. Any bruising and swelling may take about 2 weeks to resolve. Most patients return to work in 3-5 days, although this varies with the nature of your job.
Yes, breast augmentation will not affect your ability to breastfeed, especially with an endoscopic approach where there are no scars on the nipple or breast.
